2. BEGIN UPLOADING THE REQUESTED CONTENT
Click the individual tabs under the Website folder and begin uploading the requested content. Please note that this an introductory 'needs' list - your designer may request initial details and elements.
BEST PRACTICES
Traditionally, most clients do not have ability to edit their sites until their virtual tutorial, scheduled prior to the launch. This approach makes our editing process efficient and provides the education that empowers you to make site modifications, if you so choose to personally manage once live. If a unique scenario presents itself and editing access is given, it’s imperative that there are no edits made by anyone else other than The Beauty Table during the site build, regardless of how minuscule they may appear to be. Edits done by anyone outside of TBT team hinder the ability to manage all elements including, but not limited to, layout, functionality, animated experiences and operational efficiency. Any edits made by the client, prior to site completion may result in project termination without refund.
THE PROCESS
Initial Web Styling Call - During your call, you will partner with your Behind The Scenes Expert to identify your goals for your brand's new digital home. Upon completion of your call, we will send an invoice to your preferred email address requesting 30% of the service cost to begin your project.
The Details - Although the list may grow, utilize Notion to provide the required information listed above.
The Layout - As your BTS begins to arrange your website, they will propose your main menu navigation.
Revisions - When the time comes to provide feedback to your Behind the Scenes Expert, please review the revision best practices located in the Revision tab in Notion.
The Finale - Once all information has been provided and the revisions are resolved, your BTS Expert will conduct a video call to guide you through how to navigate the backoffice, your website editor, and Wix Owners app. Ready to go live? Your BTS expert will need your domain provider login information and payment method for Wix hosting fee. Once your site is live, your BTS Expert will complete your SEO basics and connect your site to Google.
